Lion's Den Student of the Month Arthur Simpson

Lion’s Den Team Member Arthur Simpson is 11 years old and currently attends Madison Middle School. He’s leading a busy life getting ready for 6th grade, but still finds time to train 3 days a week at Lion’s Den. Arthur’s favorite classes are Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with Coach Carlos and Wrestling with Coach Frankie.

When asked what he likes best about his training at the Den Arthur said, “The workouts are great, and I have learned a ton and made some great friends!” He also said that he would like to earn a Black Belt someday like his coach Carlos.

Arthur is getting excited for his first competition coming up on July 11th at the Arizona BJJ State Championships. He also enjoys watching the UFC and his favorite fighter is Frank Mir.
