Chad Ikei has over 20 years of experience and a unique background in strength and power sports as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Lion’s Den Scottsdale. With over 14 years of athletic experience in World-Class competition and 6 years of professional coaching in strength and conditioning, Chad understands the requirements for athletic success. He places a priority on building strong communicative relationships with every athlete and aggressively develops their mental focus, physical preparation and athletic performance. Chad works closely with our Lion’s Den Elite team as well as other Lion’s Den Scottsdale members to insure they achieve optimal results in their strength and conditioning programs. Chad is also President of the nationally renowned Ikei Sports Performance.

Scott Peters
is the Operations/Strength Coach at the Lion’s den Scottsdale Az. After
playing four years of college football as a standout Center for Arizona
State University, Scott was selected as a 4th round draft pick by the
Philadelphia Eagles in the 2002 draft. Currently he is preparing for
his 7th season in the NFL. Scott has had the opportunity to train in
some of the world’s top strength and conditioning programs throughout
his career. Scott will be working together with the Lion’s Den Head
Strength Coach Chad Ikei to ensure the all Lion’s Den members and
professional athletes receive the absolute best in their strength and
conditioning programs.

Kenny Lester currently competes for the Arizona State Wrestling Team as a Heavyweight. At the Lion’s Den, Kenny is the Head Coach for our Lion’s Cubs wrestling program and also works with our professional athletes In his first year as a Sun Devil he won the 120kg Greco-Roman title at the University Nationals in Akron, finished fifth at the Senior U.S. World Team Trials and went 1-2 at the FILA Junior World Team Trials. In addition Kenny also took third in the 120kg division of Sombo at the U.S. Senior National Championships.
Originally from Florida, Kenny is a graduate of Oviedo High School and was the Junior National Champion in 2006. He still holds the Florida state record for pins with 114. In addition to his outstanding skills as a competitor Kenny is also an incredible coach and teacher. For years he has spread his knowledge of wrestling fundamentals with children of all ages and skill levels through clinics, camps, and head coaching positions.
