Grappling
Grappling is a combination of wrestling techniques and submissions derived from the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Also known as "submission wrestling," or "No Gi Jiu Jitsu," Grappling has gained popularity in recent years due to its effectiveness in mixed martial arts.
The benefits of grappling are extensive. Besides being a very effective discipline in MMA and self-defense, grappling is a great way to improve functional strength, flexibility, cardiovascular conditioning, body composition and core strength. Grappling is perhaps the best way to get in great shape while staying off your feet!
At the Lion's Den, grappling classes are a staple of our training regimen. With world-class instruction, our program accommodates men and women of all skill levels. Our unsurpassed program is taught by two of the best coaches and competitors in the sport.
