The Lion’s Den Elite team is the world famous elite martial arts program that has had incredible success in MMA competitions all over the world. The Lion’s Den Elite team is picked by Ken Shamrock personally during a semi-annual tryout process that is held at Lion’s Den Scottsdale.

Traditionally tryouts have consisted of multiple rigorous physical fitness tests designed to measure fighter’s mental toughness and conditioning. Ken has since modified his tryout format to focus more on skills based testing. athletes are required to put all of their MMA training to the test against other competitors in this elimination style format. Members who excel at all phases presented in the tryout, and are selected by Ken, will be provided a spot on the Legendary Lion’s Den Elite team. These chosen few will be competing professionally representing the Lion’s Den.
