Cubs BJJ

Our Lion's Cubs Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is second to none. We are one of the few schools that feature their Resident Black Belt as the lead Professor for its kids BJJ classes. Carlos Farias, who received his Black Belt from his Mentor and Two Time World Champion Roberto Traven, takes hands on approach in teaching his students beginning at the age of five. Our young students have the opportunity to learn proper Jiu Jitsu fundamentals and technique from one of the top Instructors in the world, and this offered in a safe unintimidating environment.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is based on respect and discipline, and these values are taught right along with the physical techniques. Cubs Jiu Jitsu classes require students to wear a Gi for class which is a traditional Kimono which we have available in the Lion's Den Pro Shop. For those who are new to the Marital Art of Jiu Jitsu it incorporates wrestling skills, submissions, and self defense techniques. Our Lion's Cubs BJJ classes are very popular for both boys and girls. There are also several local BJJ kids competitions that our Cubs enjoy Competing in on a regular basis.
